TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

Lincoln is easily accessible with three regional airports nearby, connections to the motorway and good links via rail being situated on the east coast railway line.
TRAINS TO LINCOLN
Travel from London to Lincoln by train in just 1 hour 55 minutes thanks to LNER Azuma trains. Alternatively, if you are travelling from Manchester use the Sheffield or Nottingham as your change point and you can be with us in around 3 hour 30 mins.
PLANES TO LINCOLN
Humberside Airport is our closest airport with links to Amsterdam, Aberdeen and now even Cornwall for this summer. Transfer is around 50 minutes by road once you have landed. East Midlands and Manchester Airport are alternatives if you need more options from where you are travelling from.
DRIVE TO LINCOLN
A journey by car to Lincoln makes an enjoyable part of your visit as you pass through pretty market towns and villages en-route. The University is LN6 7TS on your route plan and once you arrive you will need to park in one of the local pay and display car parks as our campus car park is permit holder only. From the South – Via the A46 (Leicester, Nottingham, Newark) or the A1 and A15 (London, East Anglia)
From the East – Via the A158 (Skegness)

Additional Support for Travel
The Kate Westoby travel fund will also provide a modest contribution (c. £50-£100) toward postgraduate students’ and unwaged delegates’ travel costs upon application. Delegates apply to the fund after the conference and the fund is administered by GMS.
